Genealogy of the family van Dort

The Gorinchem family

Most people from the van Dort families in The Hague seem to have roots in Gorinchem, a small town in South Holland not far from Dordrecht. Their major profession was bricklayer.
Anthonius van Dort lived in The Hague before he sailed to Sri Lanka in 1767. On the family Delsman site we also find Joseph Cornelis van Dort, who was married to Helena Jacoba Delsman in 1907.
